Learning Fun from Oriental Trading

The end of the year has been crazy! We still have school until the end of June, but the weather is finally nice and you can really feel that it is the end of the school year.

I love kindergarten at the end of the year, the kids are doing so well!

I was given the opportunity to try some fun things from Oriental Trading.
We have started to use them in class and I love all of them!

The first things are these giant magnetic ten frames with magnetic pieces.
These are awesome! I hung them up on our whiteboard this week and the kids were so excited!
I already see so many uses for these in math.
The red and yellow pieces are perfect for addition.

I also got this tabletop pocket chart. I love this!

I made this activity for one of our kids that is having trouble differentiating between P,B and D.
It is the perfect size for a tabletop activity or center.
It is also great for a display in the classroom, maybe a class schedule.

The velcro part on the top has a dry erase board that attaches, it is great for some writing after the pocket chart activity.
The pocket chart folds up easily and even has a cute little pocket on the back.

We also got these alphabet stamps.
Our kids love stamping, they use stamps during free choice all the time and we also use stamps for sight words/letters/etc.. These stamps are easy for little hands to use and they are big! I was not expecting them to be so big, but I really like them. They are a lot of fun!

These sentence building dominoes are awesome! There are tons of words and they are colorful and nice! These would be difficult for most of our kindergartners to use since the words are a little hard, but they would be awesome for first graders. We do have some very high kids this year who are able to use them and love them!

We got these little tiny erasers that are great for using little whiteboards. We have been using socks, but these are a great replacement. They are tiny and the perfect size for student use.

These dry erase pockets are great! The colors are bright and they save paper and time. You can print a handwriting page a couple of times and then have your kids use dry erase markers to complete them, they can be used over and over. This is a great early finisher activity. I also used them for a read, write, build that I was planning on laminating. These sheets saved me the time of laminating!
